Recovery: restored sessions and starting over

"Restored previous batch session from this browser."

Completed results, edits and Reviewed marks are saved locally in this browser. They can return when storage is available, but this is not account history or a guarantee against loss. Export before leaving if you need a durable record. An active run is cancelled when the workspace unmounts; restored processing items become cancelled. The notice can be dismissed; dismissing only hides the notice.

"Needs re-upload"

The browser saves your results but not your image files. Before a restored item can be re-analyzed, upload the same file again — it is restored in place, with its result and Reviewed mark. Items still waiting for a file show Needs re-upload.

Failed items

If analysis fails for some images, Retry failed ({count}) appears in Step 4 and Batch Actions and re-runs only the failed images. Your completed items are untouched.

In the focused workspace, Try again retries the image. Choose a different image clears the image/result so you can upload another. Repeated failures may offer Contact support.

Two failed items and Retry failed (2) 1 Retry failed (2) retries only failed items. This screenshot uses simulated failures in disposable test state; no live service failed or was disrupted.

Starting over

Action What it clears Asks first?
× Remove image (focused) The image and its result; settings kept No
Reset all (focused) The image, its result and your settings (defaults restored) No
Remove document (PDF) The active PDF, its previews and its imported queue/results; returns to Upload; unrelated images and saved packages/history kept No
Clear items (batch, Steps 1–5) The whole queue No
Start over (batch, Step 6) Everything, including uploads Yes — Start over?

Export first if you need a record: clearing discards results and Reviewed marks permanently.

Leave-page warning

If you close or navigate away with unsaved batch work, the browser shows a warning. Choose to stay if you still need the session.
