Your invitation and password

AlternativeText is invitation-only during beta. This page covers accepting an invitation, signing in, and what to do if you forget your password.

Accept your invitation

1. You receive an invitation email. Open the link in it.
2. The Welcome — set your password page opens. Choose a password of at least 8 characters and enter it twice (New password, Confirm password).
3. Select Save password and continue. You are signed in and land in the Generator.

Invitation links work once and expire after a while. If your link has expired or was already used, the page explains this and offers Request a new password link — enter your email and a fresh link is sent.

Sign in

1. Go to alternativetext.com and select Open the Generator.
2. Enter your Email and Password, then select Sign in.

Reset a forgotten password

1. On the Sign in page, select Forgot password?.
2. Enter your email and select Send reset link.
3. Open the link in the email. The Set a new password page works exactly like the invitation page: at least 8 characters, entered twice, then Save password and continue.

For your security, the reset message is the same whether or not the email has an account, so it never reveals which addresses are registered.

If you cannot get in

• "Email or password is incorrect." — check for typos; passwords are case-sensitive.
• A disabled account — after sign-in you may see an access message instead of the Generator. Contact support@wcagcompliance.com.
• No email arrives — check spam, then request a new link. Always use the newest email; older links stop working.
